The Woodhorn Museum open water swim challenges are located within the picturesque historic scheduled ancient monument of Woodhorn Museum and the QE2 Country Park. The open water swim challenge events are very well suited to beginners and equally attractive to the seasoned open water swimmer, choose your challenge, distances of 750m – 1.5km or 3km.

Details

The Woodhorn Museum open water 750m, 1.5km & 3km challenge swims will be in the warm shallow freshwater QE2 lake set within the country park.

The Druridge bay Country Park is located right next to the stunning Druridge bay, on a beautiful stretch of Northumberland coastline. The Country Park is a popular place to cycle, run, swim, walk, paddle, surf and is perfect for a fun family weekend.

The minimum age for the 750m & 1.5km open water swim events is 12yrs on 31st December 2024.

The minimum age for the 3km open water swim event is 14yrs old on 31st December 2024.

Please note that all under 16`s on 31st December 2024) must hand in a signed parental consent form at the event registration.
